Notice for Change of Registered Office
Due: Within 30 days of the registered office changing
Form 15 records a change in the LLP’s registered office — its official address on record with the Registrar. It has to be filed within 30 days of the move.
This is not a name-change form. That distinction trips people up because the two are easy to confuse — changing the LLP’s name is Form 5; changing its registered office address is Form 15.
The filing needs proof of the new address, a no-objection certificate from the property owner if it’s rented or otherwise not owned by the LLP, and the partners’ approval of the move. A practising CA, CS, or CMA has to certify the filing.
