LLP Form 32
Addendum for Rectification of Defects or Incompleteness
Due: Within the response window specified when the Registrar marks the original filing PUCL
Form 32 exists for one specific situation: the Registrar has reviewed a form your LLP already filed, found it defective or incomplete, and marked its status "Pending User Clarification" (PUCL). Form 32 is how you respond with the correction.
It can only be filed against a form that's actually in PUCL status — you can't file it on your own initiative for a form that's still pending review or already approved. Filing it means entering the Service Request Number (SRN) of the original filing; the LLP's identification number and the original form details are then auto-populated.
If the original filing needed certification from a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or Company Secretary in practice, the addendum needs the same certification. Practically, this means: check the MCA portal regularly after any filing, and if a form comes back PUCL, don't let it sit — most PUCL statuses carry their own response window before the original filing is treated as invalid.
