LLP Form 22
Notice of Intimation of Order of Court/Tribunal/Central Government to the Registrar
Due: Within the period specified in the order, or as directed by the authority
Form 22 is how an LLP formally informs the Registrar of Companies about an order passed against or concerning it by a Court, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), or the Central Government, acting through the Regional Director.
This isn't a form LLPs file routinely — it only comes up when a competent authority has actually issued an order affecting the LLP, for example directions issued during compounding proceedings, a Tribunal order under the LLP Act, or a Central Government direction. Once such an order exists, filing Form 22 puts it on the LLP's official record with the Registrar.
Because it depends entirely on legal proceedings specific to each case, this is one to handle with your company secretary or the professional who represented the LLP in the underlying matter — the form itself is simple, but getting the order details and category right matters.
